Member spotlight: Susan Rossmann
Susan Rossmann is originally from St. Louis, MO but moved to the Southwest to enjoy the temperate weather and beautiful wilderness: especially the mountains and desert. She lived in Alamogordo, NM for 10 years before deciding to make the Las Cruces area her home in 2006. Susan is now retired but worked as a human resource assistant for over 25 years. She has been a member of SWEC since 1996, when she read about the organization in the Bulletin and decided this was the type of work she wanted to support. She says she continues to support SWEC year after year because she thinks the Executive Director has done a wonderful job running the organization, admires the fact that whenever she has an environmental question she is able to turn to SWEC for answers, and appreciates having an organization that is here in the region, focusing on issues pertinent to the Southwest borderlands.
