Volunteer Days at La Mancha Wetland

Time

Help create habitat for wetland wildlife!

The world is depressing these days, but there's nothing more gratifying than getting your hands dirty and doing something concretely positive for nature. Come on out to La Mancha this Fall and help us create habitat for birds, fish, and mammals that depend on dwindling wetland ecosystems. We need help weeding, maintaining trails, trimming trees and cattails, installing tree fencing, and clearing debris from the pond. Make a difference in your community and check out wetland wildlife while you're at it!

Participate in a native plant scavenger hunt and compete in a bull frog catching contest! Have fun with the entire family while helping us gain useful scientific data about our restoration project.
