Have you ever looked at a plant or creature and wondered what it was? The free phone app iNaturalist can help you become a citizen scientist. Take a photo of whatever plant or animal you’re looking at, and iNaturalist will suggest identifications based on your location. NMSU biologist Dr. Donovan Bailey will show us how to use the app on a short hike in the Organ Mountains near Aguirre Springs. $5 fee per vehicle. You’ll need a smartphone.
